Day Care Centers

Laudium Lotus Gardens Laudium

The IIS started the concept of Daycare Centers after understanding that children who are morally and spiritually conscience develop a sense of their own self-worth. Helping children develop healthy self-esteem is one of the most important things that the IIS does for them as we believe that it is the foundation of faith and commitment to the Creator. We have learnt that children need to be assured that they are a special gift from the Creator and they are to dedicate their talents and resources to others as well. This Daycare Center project gives them value, purpose and direction for life. Through every phase of a child's development, they need provisions for moral and spiritual enrichment that encourages them to truly reverence the Creator and to thus value the beauty in themselves. When we build a warm and friendly relationship with our children through these Centers, we establish the best opportunity for imparting strong moral and spiritual values to them--the key to high self-esteem. The other secondary aim of establishing these centers is to encourage mothers to work while the IIS looks after these kids. This service is rendered on a free basis to underprivileged children. The Day-Care Centers are situated at 337 Jacinth Street Laudium and 78 Diander Street Lotus Gardens where children are taught basic life skills, educational and extra-mural activities. They are also given hot meals daily.
